Background History

We are reaching out to you with a story of courage, hope, and resilience embodied by a remarkable young girl named Anne. We seek your support to continue her inspiring journey towards a brighter future.
Anne’s life journey began with adversity as she lost her father at an early age, leaving her in the care of her widowed mother and five siblings. What makes Anne’s story even more remarkable is that she was born with cerebral palsy, requiring specialized care, support, and services like physiotherapy. Unfortunately, her mother’s situation made it exceedingly difficult to provide for Anne’s unique needs.
At the tender age of 2, Anne was brought to our institution by children’s services, recognizing our expertise in assisting children with special needs. When she joined us, Anne faced significant challenges – she couldn’t stand, feed herself, or communicate effectively.

Programs Involved In:

Since her arrival at our institution, Anne has made incredible strides. Through dedicated physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions, she has learned to sit on regular chairs, stand with the aid of specialized equipment, and feed herself. In addition to therapy, Anne is actively engaged in our individual education program, which covers personal grooming, hygiene, language development, psychomotor activities, reading, writing, and creative arts such as beadwork and clay work.

Our mission for Anne is clear: to equip her with the essential skills of daily living that will enable her to become self-reliant and lead a fulfilling life.
