BACKGROUND HISTORY:

Francis’s story began with the loss of his parents at a tender age, leaving him in the care of relatives. However, one fateful day, he wandered away from home and found himself stranded in one of Nairobi’s challenging slums.  Fortunately, compassionate well-wishers came to his aid and took him to the local police station to report the situation. Subsequently, local authorities brought him into our organization, where he has been under our care since then. At the time of his admission, Francis faced multiple challenges, including the inability to communicate effectively, mobility issues, and hyperactivity.

PROGRAMS INVOLVED IN: 

Within our organization, Francis is actively engaged in programs tailored to his specific needs. He participates in an individual education program that focuses on personal grooming, hygiene, toileting, and feeding. Additionally, he receives therapy and counseling, complemented by regular medical check-ups to monitor his progress. Since joining our institution, Francis has shown remarkable improvement. With the prescribed medication, his hyperactivity has reduced, and he has made strides in both mobility and communication. We believe that with continued training and support, he will acquire the vital life skills needed for increased independence and self-responsibility.
