King Lenny’s journey began with immense challenges as he faced mental handicaps that made it difficult for him to navigate the complexities of the world. He was rescued by the compassionate authorities of Njiru police, who found him wandering the streets without any formal reports of his whereabouts. Recognizing the need for specialized care, they sought our assistance in providing him with the essential support and care he required.
At the time of his admission to our organization, King Lenny was just 13 years old, and his life had been incredibly tough. Surviving on the streets alone, he faced a multitude of difficulties. His personal hygiene had suffered, and his ability to interact socially was limited.
With the help of our dedicated team, we immediately took King Lenny to Mathari Hospital for a comprehensive assessment. Following his evaluation, he was prescribed medication that has been instrumental in his ongoing care. Since then, he has been under our constant care, receiving the attention and support he so desperately needed.

PROGRAMS INVOLVED IN:
Our programs have been carefully designed to cater to King Lenny’s unique needs and to provide him with the tools and skills required for a more fulfilling life. We have engaged him in vocational training and activities of daily living, which aim to empower him to become self-dependent. Additionally, we have implemented behavior modification strategies and an individualized education program tailored to his specific requirements.

Our ultimate goal is to help him become more self-sufficient and capable of maintaining proper personal hygiene.
