Background History

We want to share with you the remarkable journey of Arnold, a young boy who, despite facing tremendous challenges, is now on a path towards a brighter future. We kindly seek your support to continue guiding him on this inspiring journey.
Arnold’s story began when, at the tender age of 7, he wandered away from home. Unable to communicate and lost in the bustling streets of Nairobi, offering him help was a daunting task. Thankfully, one fateful night, local authorities found Arnold and took him to remand. However, no missing person report matched his description, leaving his identity a mystery. The authorities, in their compassion, found asylum for him in our organization while they awaited any news from his family or someone who could recognize him. It was evident that Arnold faced mental handicaps and struggled with communication.

Programs Involved In:

Since joining our organization, Arnold has made remarkable progress. He has become actively engaged in extracurricular activities, particularly football and running, which have not only helped him build physical strength but have also fostered social interaction.
Arnold is also enrolled in our vocational training programs, where he learns carpentry, creative woodworks, farming, and clay works. Furthermore, his creative side shines through his involvement in activities like beadwork, crafting ornaments, and various creative projects.
Socially, Arnold has flourished during his time with us. He can now communicate and interact with other children, and he has developed the ability to maintain his personal hygiene. Our mission is to continue nurturing his growth and development, imparting essential skills to make him self-reliant.
